Communication as a Marketing Strategy

thumbs-up Following the publication of my article, Online Marketing in practice - a successful example of Indesign today posted by Stefan Roussev and how he and the studio interior design Indesign use the Internet as the most accessible and easy tool for finding information.

Netat becoming increasingly interactive place where people search, share information and communicate with each other. I think if the person who deals with marketing realize this statement will find many options on how to marketing your company, product, service or idea.

Experts have long spoken of people's minds saturation of ads on television, radio, newspapers and magazines, and that this type of advertising is increasingly ineffective. Seth Godin known whether this behavior is formulated as an "interruption marketing." This concept means that the purpose of marketing is to create interest and grab the attention of people advertising to interrupt what they are doing at the time and attention of company messages. Example: watch a movie and it is interrupted for commercials in which you change channels or go to the fridge for a beer :-) . People no longer wish to interrupt them when they do something you like and ignore the advertising breaks.

What is the solution ... .... Internet :-) .

Internet create a very effective way of marketing. In the famous book " The new rules of marketing and PR "by David Scott Miarman , he says that the Internet is concerned not so much about technology as the people and the possibility that he provide them to communicate among themselves. World Wide Web has become an exceptional phenomenon and more people use the net to find information and share it with others with similar interests.

The two most important advantages of the internet that a person looking for something where motivated and willing to receive more information and the second is that the memory of the network is longer than the elephant, ie what is published in the net stays there forever.

Communication as a marketing strategy is based precisely on these two advantages of the Internet. The idea is that when people need something they seek as much information about what they care about. The purpose of communication as a marketing strategy is to have easily detectable and we are one click away to our customers. And where customers can find this information and where we can publish it:

Social networks

Increasingly popular in Bulgaria: Facebook.com , twitter.com , contacto.bg , favit.com , fanopic.com , svejo.net , dao.bg , pipe.bg , ping.bg and others. The main advantage of social Networks is that they allow for bilateral communication, because their base is shared with friends and people with similar interests. They have the opportunity to make a company profile with information about what the company offers a link to her site. In these networks people together according to their interests, what interests them, ie they are open and looking for certain information that you can give them. The idea is to provide that information and it is useful to them, they have the opportunity to learn more about us, let us know and ask questions to answer. You should not overuse info for promotions, discounts and more, let people get the necessary information to decide themselves to buy and we have them.

Forums

Almost no industry without a forum for it. Some forums are quite 'strong' and affect the views of customers. The goal is to attend the forums, by offering useful information about what we do and therefore how we can help. Here we must be very careful with what we publish, because it can cause adverse effects. Purpose is to communicate and to be helpful but not intrusive and advertising company for her.

On-line media

The main purpose of media is to offer interesting, relevant and useful information for its readers otherwise they will not read them. We also we aim to offer interesting, relevant and useful information about their customers, therefore we have common goals. Writing articles for On-line media is an effective way for us to understand many people who are interested in our products, services or company. Approach is important and how it will be offered the article itself. Should strive to have a link to our site. Thinnest point is again communication and both parties must be satisfied to obtain useful information about the customer / reader.

Company's corporate website and blog

I left them last because I think they are the most important. The purpose of the above sources ( social networks, forums, On-line media , etc..) is to bring people to our site or blog and zavarshi with this contract. These are two sources of information on the Internet that we fully control and we only. Again I will mention the book "The new rules of marketing and PR" by David Scott Miarman (amazing book!), It says that the site should be rich in content, but it must be useful for our customers. Site must be updated frequently, more frequently, and continuously as possible in common :-) . Usually, the official site has information about what we do (what product or service offering), the conditions under which we do it (prices), the outcome of our work (these are completed projects, some clients, recommendations), promises to give Customer and contact information.

For me a blog is a real opportunity for a breakthrough in traditional marketing and a great opportunity to climb on top to povedem column to become industry leaders and customers to join us. The blog allows us to create our own media through which to inform our customers about everything important to them, for us and the industry in which we operate. You can use text, images, video, audio, presentations, tell interesting stories for us to inform about developments in the field, etc.

How can this happen? A blog is a natural extension of the desire and purpose to strengthen its presence on the internet and through publication of an informal information to build personal relationships with their customers. It must publish the branch tips, but information from the "kitchen", what we like, what you care about, what causes we support, what we care what we want to change how we work, what happens the whole process etc. The aim is to strive to create a pleasant experience with us, our company and brand, and to be helpful with our knowledge of their clients. Blog provides quick feedback and reveals the human face of the company, customers understand what people behind this company and how they are different from others. Can quickly correct mistakes, because our most loyal customers will immediately inform you, they can also dadat us great suggestions and ideas that are not even aware of.

The best thing is that there are no rules now write and we can write and find our rules and leave competitors far behind us after the turn :-). The key is to experiment, to create a unique corporate blog and to distinguish our brand from others.

If we follow the idea described as a marketing communication strategy and publish useful information for our customers in social networks, forums, on-line mussels, company website and company blog, then people will find fast and easy and will understand what is different with us and why should we trust, will have all the information needed for their decision to contract. For anyone who is motivated and looking for information about the product / service we offer will be one click away to him.

Finally, it is important to note that when we write should be guided by the interests and wishes of the people and to deliver useful and interesting information and it must contain the words they use when searching the Internet. The idea is to communicate with clients and provide them with information they seek and want, not to collect contact information and then overwhelm them with commercial messages.

This is the philosophy of marketing, interior design studio INDESIGN :-)
